Hasting's Book Signing! Hey all, I survived my first book signing at Hastings. Thanks for my friends for coming to support me. I really appreciate it. Even my new "author friend," Deanna Jewel, came to support me. I also just purchased her e-book today and can't wait to read it. Marketing is so hard and takes so much time to do. But today, I sold 3 books at Hastings which was really cool. Two to people I already know and one to a total stranger who read about the book signing in the newspaper article! it was awesome. And gobs of thanks to my special friend, Susan Compton, for sitting there and keeping me company. You rock! Now i'm working on getting ready for my next display. Will be in Coeur d' Alene on the 30th of May at the Foster Parent Conference, setting up a table to try to sell my book. This conference is at the Best Western on Appleway. It should be fun.
